Southern Missouri Bluegrass is a 27 year professional group. An award winning, internationally known band and is one of the fastest growing in popularity and most up and coming bluegrass bands in the USA today.
We play any type of bluegrass venue including, festivals,
Southern Missouri Bluegrass was formed 27 years ago from a dream and an inspiration from hearing the Grand Ole Opry for the first time in the 1950's and the ones on the Opry of influence, were Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, and with that sound came that dream and
developement of the group to what it is today. Southern Missouri Bluegrass has a world
wide fan base and are known internationally and have won several awards. The group have had the privilege of performing with most of the names in the bluegrass business,
and at some very influential venues as Bill Monroe homeplace at Rosine, KY; International
Bluegrass Music Museum at Owensboro, KY; headliner for the Winnebago Company at
Forest City, IA and at many well known festivals and concerts. Our performances are of
